To the people who haven’t bothered to listen
Alright, i’ve actually listened to both episodes. People below have been complaining when only the trailer came out which isn’t even two minutes long. As a supporter of the LGBTQIA+ community with trans friends, I can understand your gripe with this. However this podcast is about the HISTORY of the books and J.K.’s life. She isn’t talking about her TERF views in these first two episodes. You can say this is J.K. Rowling’s “Oprah interview”. But if you did not grow up remembering/knowing the far right Christain movement against her and the books then have a listen. The far right Christains have done a good job banning her books in librarys and now they have their sights on banning books with LGTBQIA+ tropes. But that isn’t the point. The point is is that this podcast is telling not only the rise and fall but also talking to other folks about their views, including TRANS individuals. And no I wasn’t paid to write this. No, I am NOT A TERF. I’m a millenial that grew up with HP and was my childhood. I just couldn’t stand the people bashing on this podcast without bothering to listen to it and just rely on the trailer.

The first two episodes have been very enlightening, I can’t wait to hear the rest!

The one-stars seem to lack a foundational understanding of this author, her statements, and her position.

This could not be more exciting to me. The trailer alone was so poignant. Thank you for fighting for women! Thank you for fighting for clarity. Thank you for fighting for truth. Bravery IS very important.
