I am hopeful that I can change my rating as more episodes are released. I struggle with giving ppl the benefit of the doubt (especially rich ppl with access to every resource imaginable) after they have already spoken out against a marginalized group of ppl that they admittedly do not understand. Growinf up catholic during the early 2000s I remember most of the burning was focused on Harry Potter himself. And fantasy books in general. I rarely heard anyone calling for JK herself to be condemned until recently. The real fire she came under is one she lit herself after her casual foray into anti trans rhetoric. The witch trials title feels like bait after finishing the episodes. Hoping your journalistic integrity will continue and evolve into a true study of what led her to conservative ideology.

More reviews of The Witch Trials of J.K. Rowling
Wonderful to hear J.K. Rowling and heart-breaking to hear what she went through. Especially with that ex-Husband of hers. I would love to hear Ms. Rowling discuss in-depth the outlining and plotting and writing of her books, particularly Philosopher’s Stone. Thank you for posting this.
