I love this podcast — it’s smart, snarky, funny and all about books, pop culture, publishing, feminism, etc. I want to be friends with the hosts and their guests, and I wish they’d all quit their day jobs and do nothing but make more episodes of this podcast.

Terrible audio quality (laptop mics are simply not acceptable for a podcast), a distracting and unfunny amount of laughing at each other’s non-jokes, and (this is just me) a teeth-grating “like whatever” accent.

The actual content is good, though it can be frustrating to hear the word ‘like’ punctuate every sentence (every sentence incidentally ends with upward inflections). Hosts can sound a little ignorant but what they talk about is actually good.

I am a big fan of reading and I wanted to find something to listen to while doing homework or other things. I looked at other podcasts but they were mostly boring things I couldn’t get into.
