“One of my friends had been trying to get me to listen to this for a while, and I'd been putting it off because I thought the concept sounded mean. I'm so glad I gave it a chance. It's genuinely one of the funniest podcasts I've listened to, and it's funny without being spiteful or rude. All the criticisms of the books in these episodes seem well thought-out and valid; Kait and Renata are very generous toward the authors they discuss even while they're criticizing their work.
