Brilliant
My parents were immigrants. I grew up convinced that I “knew” how things work, and it’s certainly not the old, backward immigrant ways. Now I’m the mum with teenagers who scoff at my old-school ways. I love your conversations with your kids where you challenge them with your wisdom & humor. Bittersweet as I recognize my own youthful, steadfast certitude that I was more knowledgeable than my “ignorant” parents (both MDs). Youth will always value modernity over wisdom gained through experience. Saw your show in NYC. Now I follow and watch/listen to everything you create. Great work and brilliant that you make it a family affair. So relatable.
