Love the podcast, but the yelling/arguing is off-putting, and causes stress. Hopefully we can hear more calm family discussions. Thanks!

I heard about your show from the wonderful episode of how you & your husband met on This American Life so thought I would try it. And I was not disappointed! Interesting, funny & I loved that your sons were included as well . So now I’m hooked & can’t wait to tell my friends. Please...Read full review »

SO FUNNY. Every one of the family members brings something special (and hilarious) to the table. I love how the three kids are so close to each other. Also as someone who went through the NYC SHSAT grind (been a minute) I just want to take a minute to validate Brij 💛 Garg family, keep up the...Read full review »

Legit the funniest podcast I’ve listened to in I don’t know how long—I mean laugh out loud funny, with tremendous heart as well. An instant favorite.

Sorry but way too much misinformation being shared in the very first episode. A bit of a turn off. The mom proclaims she doesn’t know what’s going on, asks the kids who tell her, then she’s just like “No” … Kids say we never had the talk, and mom asserts they did. And, mom promoting abstinence as...Read full review »

Zarna is so funny. The family dynamic is witty, fast pace, comical with practical life advice thrown in with the drama. Brij is bold, quick witted and in on the joke. They all are and it’s fun to listen to. Zoya’s search for independence and self discovery while merging traditional Indian and...Read full review »

My kids are a little older but I love listening to this podcast! We are not Indian (unfortunately, I know! ) but there are family similarities no matter what your race or origin is. Funny.

I can’t get enough of this wonderful family. Each member is smart, warm, earnest, delightful. They are so lucky to have each other.

It so nice to hear another family praise and berate one another while in each others company……………..They are hysterical to listen too. Zoya and Zarna are my favorites each episode. Smart gals who are trying desperately to talk some sense into the male members of their family lol

Fun, lighthearted family dynamic. My husband and I look forward to the entertaining podcasts every fortnight in Australia. I found you, Zarna, from your street interview with Hannah Berner, on husbands and a happy marriage.

Fantastic family podcast! Every episode is as educational as it is entertaining. I was a bit turned off by the latest episode (home remedies). Love your show and I eagerly wait for the new episodes to launch. ❤️ My vote goes to Zoya in Home Remedies episode. Good job standing up for your mom and backing her up many times when Brij and his dad teamed up. Don’t wanna say anything about Veer , he’s just so cute and still innocent 💙

I absolutely love listening to your show and your well spoken and insightful kids. I was surprised and disappointed to hear the sexist and homophobic undertones presented and supported by Dad. Thanks to Zoya for speaking up against these sentiments.

My parents were immigrants. I grew up convinced that I “knew” how things work, and it’s certainly not the old, backward immigrant ways. Now I’m the mum with teenagers who scoff at my old-school ways. I love your conversations with your kids where you challenge them with your wisdom & humor....Read full review »

We are a Lebanese immigrant family living in the UK. My husband and I came here 20 years ago and both our boys were born and raised here so I can totally relate 😄 I love the honesty. I think my new mantra is WWZD? The love, and wit of the entire family shines…not a podcast person, but Zarna and her family are the exception. Can’t wait for more episodes!

I love every single second of this podcast. I mean it’s doing a great phenomenal job, cause coming from an Indian family, we do these talks a lot of time in a “hush-hush” but hats off to Zarna from bringing them to the world. It takes a lot of courage. I am lovin it.

I am hooked on this show and need more ASAP. Authentic and beautifully honest. There is so much love between the family members. The conversation is so genuine, and to top it off, it’s funny! There are some really funny moments, even hilarious moments, but the show’s brilliance is its originality.

Love the way the conversations re carried out with authenticity. These are topics which more Indian families still don’t talk to kids. Good initiative 👍🏼

Zarna is an incredibly candid and witty host taking on topics that most parents would shy away from, and by doing so, gives us permission (and courage) to explore them in our own family dynamics. It’s time well spent - not just for the insights, but also for the laughs.
