Grieving is one of the most difficult things to do. It can challenge you. Wreck you. Break you down into a million pieces. But it always gives you an opportunity to grow and rebuild. Not grieving, or living in a period of "un-grief," can cause you to hold on to things, and people, that you are meant to completely let go of. And that, is so much worse.

I love the Grinch. Always have, always will. I fully understand why he felt the way he did about the holidays, and why he acted out of grumpiness. I too have a Grinch-like heart. It's why my family refers to me as "The Stinch." And just like his heart grew, so has mine, too.
