Two white men talking about how to gaslight their way out of acknowledging their privilege
Just listened to episode 720 and it was the most tone-deaf podcast I have heard in a long time. I sent to a friend to make sure I wasn't crazy and she couldn't even make it through the episode. The irony of it all was that they were discussing white fragility but in ways that CLEARLY showed their own white fragility. Their privilege is insane, to the point that they didn't even realize it. They are completely missing the point and gaslighting with excuses like not liking DiAngelo. This podcast missed the mark. Actually they hit the mark for being two white privileged men talking about race!Read full review »

More reviews of Theology in the Raw
Preston has great interviews with true bible experts, real people and those who are able to speak directly to specific topics. His ability to work through biblical topics that others dismiss is refreshing and freeing.

Lots of good discussion, but not one single Bible verse mentioned. How can one study God (the definition of theology) without the study of God’s word? The entire hour-long podcast was based off the podcasters’ own ideas, not from the Word of God at all.

I look forward to every Monday and Thursday to see who Preston will have on the show. Preston has a heart for God and understanding how to show Christ’s love in today’s culture. The conversations are real and he’s not afraid of of any subject.
