Preston is A Voice Worth Hearing
I'm glad this was finally made available in podcast form (been streaming from the website for a while now). How to describe him and his work best? Here is a quite from his blog at Patheos that sums him up well: "One of the best pieces of intellectual advice I received (from a student, actually) was that 'we should seek to understand before we critique.' Another person, this time a colleague, used to say that 'you need to get to a place where you are an inch away from believing something before you can truly understand it,' and he was talking about Islam. Pretty risky stuff, but I think they’re both right. A solid, honest, informed—indeed, Christian—way of evaluating a any interpretation or doctrine is to understand it before you critique it." That describes Preston. He struggles for truth and understanding, no matter where it leads. And he's always gracious while he does it. He's Worth you're time.Read full review »

My favorite thing about Preston Sprinkle is his disciplined avoidance of tribalism. He demonstrates frequently that he can discuss a wide range of topics with open-mindedness, while still maintaining his own personal convictions. A wonderful, relevant, thought-provoking series.

I thoroughly enjoy Theology in the Raw. Preston covers all the raw topics no one likes to talk about, but need talking about, and he does it humbly and graciously. Every week I’m waiting for the next topic(s) and interview. Thanks for your work, bro
