“As a teenager I attempted to read "The Fellowship of the Ring" but wasn't engaged by the material enough to finish the book, or even get half way.
But upon hearing that Story Wonk(Alastair himself) would be starting a seminar covering "The Hobbit" and all three of "The Lord of the Rings" (maybe more) I bought myself a copy and got ready for some insightful, detailed and thoroughly researched analysis of the books.
As Alastair has with other podcasts "Dear. Mr Potter", "Story and Star Wars", he has captured my full attention, and is leaving me at the end of each episode craving more info.
