Robotic
I can be kind of picky about podcasts based on whether I like the narrator or not, so I try not to judge too harshly. Still, I couldn’t help wondering if the guy doing the storytelling here wasn’t actually some type of computer generated text-to-voice program. There really is that little emotion or inflection in his voice. The cadence never once changes. It’s maddening, especially since the whole thing is all just him telling the story…no other voices or recordings. Just this incredibly monotonous robotic droning for the entire episode. I’ve only listened to one episode so far but man, I can’t say this one made me want to listen to another!

The new host is very disappointing. I’m sure the new host is great but it doesn’t have the same feel that old podcast had.

Very interesting just like the UK version. A podcast with cases I haven’t already heard again and again.

And I like an outcome rather than a mystery. However, that’s a personal choice. You can’t beat a Benjamin podcast.
