My new favourite true crime podcast
True crime podcasts are, to put it lightly, a dime a dozen. Whether you want a comedy spin or a more serious take, chances are there's something out there to suit your particular tastes. Saying that, I've also found that most popular true crime podcasts tend to lose their heart, becoming vehicles of the hosts and less about the victims or the crimes at the centre of each episode. They Will Kill has become my favourite podcast through the empathy and chemistry of its two hosts, who put the victims first and foremost. There's jokes here and there, but they're always in good taste and all the 'banter' is left at the back end should that be a particular point of annoyance for any listener (I personally listen all the way through beginning to end, and enjoy every minute of it). Courtney and Sadie: please keep up all the awesome work, don't lose your heart. I love this podcast dearly.Read full review »

I can’t wait to hear more from these two. They are picking tragic, interesting, infuriating cases and reporting on them with compassion. I love that they are allowing the audience to see little glimpses of their personalities with just enough personal stories. Thank you and carry on ladies!

Who knew I could love murder so much? These sister do a wonderful job of storytelling and entertaining, while still honoring the victims. I love it.

Not sure what it is about maternity leave during a global pandemic that just makes me want to listen to stories about murder. Another mom on maternity leave recommended it so at least I know I’m in good company!
