I love the variety of the topics and recommendations. The contributors have wonderful insights and I want to be friends with all of them. The episodes equip and encourage me to have deeper conversations with the things most people are talking about anyway.

I discovered the podcast through emails. They cut to the quick. Using contemporary culture, they show how Jesus is found in our real world. Loving, caring, for everyone. Honesty. Humor. Love. Freedom. Thank you!

I love listening to this show! I started off just listening to episodes that featured movies or tv shows I enjoyed, but quickly discovered how delightful it is to listen to a lively and friendly conversation on Christianity and pop culture. I now listen to every episode regardless of the topics!...Read full review »

Think Christian is a solid show and I especially look forward to and enjoy their annual Christian Defense of Horror episodes. And looking forward to Josh’s book “Fear Not!” next year 😁

The thing that I enjoy most about listening to Think Christian podcast is how often times I get interesting conversation starter ideas I can use to engage unbelieving or nonbelieving friends in conversation about current culture without having to sound “preachy” there’s some really good stuff here.

I’m appreciative of the point of view of Josh and his guests. Even though I gravitate toward the film aspect of the show, it’s been great to hear and get recommendations on music and shows that I’ve heard about peripherally as well as commentary on films. Love this show and Josh!

Hi Think Christian friends. This is an update to my first review - after the first full podcast episode. What could be better than looking at Christian humanism through the lens of Dr Who and Marvel comics? Great episode- and the Spotify playlist looks promising. Thanks! Looking forward to more.

Loved what Aarik Danielsen said about staying soft people - not hardened by the struggle - and that our faith gives resources to do that. It is by God’s grace that we persevere. The idea of being in it with God is really sustaining. Thank you for this episode!

I’ve been in a tricky space with faith recently. Therefore there are no faith based shows I listen to on a regular basis. With the exception of this one. As I considered why, in the midst of a season when my hope is shaky and Christian community feels like a chore, I expectantly wait for each...Read full review »

Josh and Co. always bring great insight to the latest movies, music, and TV shows that everyone’s talking about. I love the rotation of guests, especially Joe and Claude on this most recent edition. There truly is nothing that is secular!

This is a great podcast. It embraces pop culture with a Christian lens, and understands that all art, no matter the format, is a form of prayer and should always be engaged with and not shunned. Highly recommended.

Wow a great way to use empathy or other ideas prevalent in Christian theology or philosophy to evaluate and discuss pop culture. (I listened to the tiger king/never rarely episode). I came across Think Christian when Josh Larsen was featured on Mark Kermode’s vlog a few years back. The website has proved really helpful to stimulate my growth in a Christian world-view of films. This podcast provides an even better supplement to that.

A really helpful Christian perspective on different aspects of pop culture; this isn’t about what’s appropriate for Christians to watch. So wonderful to have a podcast tackling topics in a way that so many people of faith have had to do alone. These are great deep dives and I personally hope these episodes will eventually get longer--there is so much there to discuss!

A podcast full of thought provoking conversations about a subject that few Christian dare to consider: pop culture. It’s kind of like NPR’s “Pop Culture Happy Hour” but from a Christian worldview with smart, open minded, hosts.

Pop Culture Happy Hour with a Christian worldview.
