“This podcast has singlehandedly turned me into a morning person! I have struggled with maintaining routines throughout my entire life, but especially after getting laid off during the pandemic. Over the last few months, I have found that Dachia’s quick, simple (and always uplifting!) method of delivering the daily affirmations, quotes and thought starters is exactly the kind of consistency I clearly needed to be able to kick-start my mental health from ground zero and start working on becoming a more grateful, self-aware and motivated human.
And speaking of human - I love how HUMAN the host is! There was an episode a while back that she must’ve accidentally uploaded the unedited version of, and it included her dogs barking (along with her subsequent barking back at them to “knock it off!” haha) and she TOTALLY owned up to the mistake the next day without trying to glaze over it or pretend it never happened. As someone who is constantly trying to get my pups to quiet down while I’m on the phone or doing a zoom interview, I felt so SEEN. I think it’s so important now more than ever for us to all recognize the humanity in one another, and there’s really something special and real about that within this podcast.
TLDR: If you’re looking for a way to kick-start a morning routine, re-discover a lost sense of self-love, or just want to try something new, THIS IS THE PODCAST FOR YOU! Every time I’ve recommended it to a friend, they’ve reached back out a week or so later telling me how it’s totally shifted their perspective/mental health for the better. With that said, if you’re new to trying this out, grab a notebook, a fun pen in your favorite color and start leaning into the practice of doing something small for yourself each morning. Bonus points if you leave the affirmations on notes for yourself around the house. 🤍”
