Helps me break out of the mundane, consistently
Top quality podcast all around. I'm continually impressed with Michael's sense of humor, intelligence and ability to bring on amazing people, and then engage them in grounded conversation (even if some of the concepts are decidedly far out). I have been ripping right through the episodes and they're all keeping me engaged and present, which is unusual for a podcast. Usually there's those episodes that you end up skipping or spacing out on. There's definitely magic a-brewing here. It's fun to ride along with Michael on his personal journey of exploring all of these far out ideas and some of the conversations that organically develop are absolutely electrifying, inspiring or just awesome with far reaching implications. Life right now for me is lacking community and involves running errands and doing repetative kinds of tasks so I'm taking my Third Eye Drops with me and it's seriously improving my quality of life and keeping my mind happy. Is this beginning to sound like a pharmaceutical commercial? But seriously, it's like bringing a really cool, deep thinking group of friends around with you while you go about your mundane tasks. For the longest time I was bringing Terrence with me and enjoying his raps, but I'm really digging the shift to these conversations Michael is so cleverly curating. Huge thanks to him for all of the work he's putting into this "media vessel" as he describes it :) Can't wait to hear who comes on the show next, because so far I've been impressed with everyone.Read full review »

This podcast is seriously addicting. Consistently interesting guests and topics are visited with extreme depth and articulate attention to detail. I am glad to be a fellow traveler on the journey though the psyche.

I was a huge fan of Michael's last one, Midwest Real. Can't recommend this one enough. Some of the smartest, most genuine and articulate people on this show. I recieved an iTunes giftcard for xmas, is there anyway to just "donate" the balance to TED?Read full review »

Podcasts are my new rabbit-holes these past years. One leads to another and luckily I found Midwest Real, quickly finding a consciousness-exploration resonance with Michael and his amazing guests. It's a hard art to combine the creative potential of human sentience with our innocent folly in...Read full review »
