-5 Years Later- I/we could live without the hat-tip to the most recent social contagion know as “Gender Identity” The accompanying mutilation (often of children) makes this a buzz-kill to say the least……. Uk,Sweden,Finland all have banned this barbaric practice.

Really great stories, acting, and production value. Very timely for Halloween The latest episode, "The most dangerous side hustle", is a great modern twist on the haunted houseRead full review »

The background music on many of the stories just does NOT match the story and is too loud and distracting. The stories and narration seem to be good but the music just demands to take center stage and often times upstages (not in a good way) the story itself. Please change, lower the volume of,...Read full review »

I keep coming back in hopes of the return to the prior content quality (see prev review below). Just finished listening to, “The Most Dangerous Side Hustle” and I genuinely feel like those were 35+ mins of my life that I’ll never get back. Brutal honesty - the story was almost comically lame. If...Read full review »

REVIEW OF 2024 CONTENT: Quality has taken a massive nosedive! Feels much more like a quickly produced horror anothology than the deep, well-produced, thought-provoking content it used to be. The episodes promoting their new horror erotica podcast are also disgusting - not only is mixing...Read full review »

Fall of 98 was a really good listen. I usually don’t like religious dramas bc it’s triggering but I related to every detail in the story bc I experienced that evangelistic Christianity too growing up. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’ve been gone from this pod for a little over a year. I remembered it, looking forward to more spooky, well crafted stories with moody music. I started with the newest stories and am 4 in… what happened? ☹️

I joined the Patreon because this show was so different, so intelligent, so atmospheric, and so professionally voiced. This Grim Reaper episode was schlock. I figured it out 2 minutes in. No offense to Mr. DuFort, but he is perfect for Creepy, and totally unsuited for this broadcast. If this...Read full review »

There are quite a few horror/suspense podcasts and most don’t live up to the hype. This one goes above and beyond. The stories are unique and well developed. The voices, sound quality, and soundtrack are all first rate.

The story’s abs narrations are great, but honestly the background music is so over the top.. it’s so distracting and a lot of it doesn’t fit with the story.. I don’t understand the editing with this? Surly they can hear how loud the music is

Entertaining and engaging spooky tales, particularly the early ones. As they have expanded the writing team however, some quality has been lost. Early ones are quite chilling, whilst later ones have all the finesse of a ten year old telling a camp fire story.

This wasn’t quite what I expected, the stories really take their time developing context and characters, it’s really unique I feel like among horror podcasts.

What’s with the whispering soft narrator? Gets super annoying after awhile.

I enjoy paranormal and horror style podcasts like the antiaquarium of sinister happens and this podcast was recommended. What not to love about a good story. The narrators are awesome and story the stories are absolutely captivating. It’s a must hear podcast.

Gave up on this one, as I got bored of the waffle and the drawling voice that was used to make it sound more atmospheric.

I really like these stories but every one of them always misses the opportunity to build on the scary twist when it’s revealed. I’m not sure if it’s the narrators lilting ‘bedtime story’ tone of voice or whether it just needs to extend the moment that you’re waiting for when listening. Always so...Read full review »

I came here from the Olive Hill podcast (which I loved) and I’m really enjoying this. Really great stories … contortion / harvest town / mr no eyes … and some. Nice hour long tales, really well written & narration is spot-on. Not your usual stories, something different, I was there. Sack your TV, these are Perfect mysterious stories for down-time entertainment.

This is one of my favourite podcasts when it’s done well. 60% of the time it is excellent and rates 5 stars. Recent episodes have not lived up to previous excellence. If youre here to be spooked, you're out of luck past the first 2 episodes. If youre here to jerk off, you might find the overwhelmingly christian backdrop of most episodes a mood killer. I’ve only just finished the 3rd episode but I’m writing this review because the names they chose for the two boys who took the girls to prom are mine and my brothers names and I thought that was hilarious! Im throughly enjoying the story telling and will be listening to more!

This show was recommended to me by my wife. She knows that I appreciate horror but that I don’t always care for jump scares and gratuitous amounts of violence. This podcast is hit or miss with more misses than hits as it continues. I find the narrator with the southern accent to be irritating and I’m from the south 🤷🏻‍♀️

The background music ruins the series. Some have commented that it get better so I listened to a recent episode - nope - music is still terribly distracting.

This podcast is perfect, except that there aren't nearly enough episodes 🥹 the music is subtle and adds so much to each story, and I'm not even a fan of music in my horror fiction. I've listened to some of these over and over. They're always creepy without being the kind of...Read full review »
