“This is simply my favorite podcast. Chuck is the best interviewer. He never gets in the way of an interview and he never makes it about him. He has a wide variety of guests and he allows them to present their views. He is always prepared for his interviews with intelligent questions that demonstrate he is familiar with the author's work. You simply won't find this type of content anywhere. He also draws on a variety of irregular correspondents who reside throughout the world to get perspectives from outside the US that are rarely if ever presented to an American audience. Other irregular correspondents present thoughtful commentaries on current events such as Jeff Dorchen's The Moment of Truth. I even like the local Chicago based aspects such as his conversations with Michael Roeper about beer. This is truly independent news. Four hours a week is not enough.”Read full review »
