Dan Jones always makes history exciting and accessible, and this podcast is no different. If you’ve read/listened to his books or watched his documentaries, the episode was still fresh and engaging. If you haven’t and you think history is boring and is just memorizing dates and names, give this podcast a try. Jones has a gift of drawing you into a story and caring about the subjects, and at the end you find you were almost tricked into learning. He is the kind of cool professor everyone wishes they had. He talks about historical events like they’re the most fascinating drama, and honestly by the end you agree with him. They are.

Aimed at young teens? For the amount of non content this is too short. One of the best and most engaging history podcasts . I love all things Plantagenet and so this is perfect. Definitely pay for the subscription to get the added bonus episodes too !
