“I am a big fan of Dan Jones and have read his books for years. I love his narrative style, and while I could listen to hours of story from him, that is what I see the books to be. This is a fun and brief refresh for me, since I read The Plantagenets a few years ago. I think it’s totally worth the subscription price to get the bonus episodes that go into detail about certain key players. Dan is more conversational there, which I thoroughly enjoy. I love Dan’s formal voice, but I have laughed out loud listening to his other pod… er… voice notes/not-a-podcast series where he is more much more casual. Overall, I like it a lot, and I listened to all 7 and bonus episodes available in 24 hours.”

“Great subject and I like Dan’s way of telling the story, but episodes could be longer and provide more info. Less time spent plugging patreon episodes and what is going to be about and more time on the story itself. Cut to the chase and get on with it.”
