I’m usually a very avoidant person and I’ve been podcasting to seek answers. I’ve never cried during a podcast…I have definitely cried here.

As a licensed social worker and seeker of authentic tools for growth and exploration, I can say that Vienna is very gifted and authentic as a healer. I’ve gotten so much out of the few episodes I’ve heard.

I think I am looking for/am drawn to sessions that go a bit deeper. I just feel like it’s skimming the surface.

Thank you for all you do. Your work is helping me understand so much about myself and others.

This just can’t be compared to Esther Perel’s podcast. It is not as intimate or deep & tends toward pathologizing rather than deeply exploring humanity. As a therapist this doesn’t move me or teach me much. Wish there was more poignancy and excavation of depth

Hi there, I would love to go on your podcast but I am from Australia. If you could send me an email for me to send my story in I would love that. Your book has helped me so much and I wonder if this could too. I am a twin and my wedding was the catalyst that tore open my prioritisation wound....Read full review »

Really love Viennas podcast ! She has such a warm and welcoming nature that often encourages guests to reframe their beliefs in a loving and gentle way. I often times can sense how Vienna creates a comforting space for the guests to feel, share, and have important “ aha moments!”. Truly love...Read full review »

I appreciate hearing the story of guests & hearing Vienna’s feedback and wisdom, but I will say that even as a therapist in training, the way that the information is presented can be often confusing and feel hard to follow. I feel like the concepts are talked about in a meta-way, and I feel...Read full review »

As someone who has spent years in therapy doing the work required to get beyond childhood trauma, I find this podcast to be hugely impactful. Vienna’s mix of empathy, wisdom, insight, kindness and expertise is so impressive. She is a very good listener and seems to intuit just what the podcast...Read full review »

This is the most helpful podcast I’ve ever listened to. The way the episodes are like another’s therapy session and so transparent and vulnerable makes me be able to relate to so much of what I’m hearing and helping me to process similar issues I’m dealing with that the guests share about their...Read full review »

I found out about Vienna on Dan Savage’s podcast. I often don’t look up the work of guests on podcasts I listen to, but I was very captivated with the compassionate insight that I heard from Vienna. I was also captivated by the IFS talk because my therapist uses this in our practice and I love...Read full review »

Love love love this podcast. Vienna has such a calming voice and she is so thoughtful with her inquiries. So much to learn about ourselves and how our family has formed who we are.

I am loving this show. Even when the guests have experiences very different than mine I feel like I learn a lot that I can apply in my life. Plus Vienna’s voice and style are super soothing!

I listened to 4 of them. I think this podcast will be interesting to people in 20, 30 years from now who wish to understand some of the current trends in therapy.

This therapist dives too quickly in my opinion into the pathological patterns before the guests have adequately described them through maybe at least one example. The entire sessions tend to be the therapist and guests tossing around various therapeutic terms and it never really goes anywhere.

This podcast is so insightful and, unlike many others, offers within it observations and examples of self supportive practices or witnessing that is etruly helpful.

Every episode is just speaking to me personally! I love how the therapist actually moves people beyond their security gates and gets to a point that seems like a core element for the issues being presented. Wow! Such a great podcast.

This podcast is amazing. Vienna is a boss. She’s a therapy surgeon. She asks insightful questions, empathizes, pauses, leans in, holds space for emotion and nuance, while also asking for the clients permission to go further into their story. I learn from her and her clients. A MUST listen!
