I loved this podcast! Each one of the episodes had a brief description of what the episode was about and a picture. The first thing I noticed when I hit play was at the voice seemed young when diving deeper into the podcast, learning this podcast is ran by teens. Which makes their perceptions on the different topics that much more interesting. The first podcast I listened to was “Pretend Adulting”.This episode talked about growing up and moving out of your childhood and not relying on your parents. They talked about how weird it feels and how embarrassing it can be not knowing or feeling like you don't know how to navigate in these “adult-like tasks”. My roommate and I can relate to this, we are both in our first apartment ever this year and we have to learn how to clean up, grocery shop, etc. These are tasks we usually do with our parents at home so learning how to navigate feels like we are “pretend adulting”. It was reassuring hearing the podcast hosts are also going through something similar and that we are not the only ones. I decided to also listen to a second podcast however this time my roommate decided to listen with me. The second podcast we chose to listen to was “Thank you, Next: Becoming my Best Self”. This spoke to my roommate because she experienced bullying in high school. I never really experienced anything like this in high school so it was interesting to hear not only the way the podcast host felt but also the way my roommate felt when similar situations were happening. It gave me a whole new perspective on how small things like not waving to somebody in the hallway can really affect an overall mood and perception of oneself. After listening to both of these podcasts I realized that there are so many teens all over who feel the same way. I feel like this is a great podcast to listen to because they have so many different episodes that cover a plethora of topics. Overall I would give this podcast 4.5/5 stars.Read full review »

More reviews of This Teenage Life
The teens on this teenage life do not shy away from harder subjects while also navigating conversation with nuance and thought. Truly a pleasure to hear these young minds at work and experience a piece of what future generations have to offer.

This podcast is so good! It is so relatable. I think i relate to at least 1 story in all of these episodes. I’m scared to become a teenager because there are lots of changes. I’m turning 13 in 2 months and listening to this has helped me understand life more. Thanks ❤️
