Exciting!
TWiV is fascinating. I've never taken a science class past high school biology (so far!) but the topics are discussed in such a way that any person with an interest in microbiology and virology would be able to keep up and learn plenty. In the earlier episodes, the comfortable discourse between Vincent Racaniello and Dick Despommier reminds me of NPR's Car Talk. I also like the "Picks of the Week" -- further recommended reading, blogs and podcasts. The passion with which the hosts and guest hosts talk about their work has been one of my biggest inspirations in my decision to go to school and study biology.Read full review »
