“Vincent Racaniello is a professor at Columbia University, and he knows virology. His enthusiasm for this topic is exciting and infectious. The podcast usually has at least one other expert, and the discussions are fascinating. Polio, West Nile, Aids, and many many more. I would like to hear a "TWIV" show on the evolution of viruses, with some speculation about how viruses first got started. Which came first, the virus or the cell? Or something else?
