Brilliant fun but erratic
If you are like me, coming to this podcast well after it's been running, you won't notice the erratic nature of when new episodes appear. This is a brilliant idea, played off well and entertaining to listen to...it's hilarious to listen to someone experience the frustration and boredom that large swaths of the Bible create. It all starts off well, and though there are month-long gaps in releases after the first two books, you'll never realize it until you get to the current episode and then realize you may have 2 weeks, a month, three months to wait until the next one. That's the truly frustrating part (to put it in KJV language)...Thomas, thou has broken thy Covenant with us, thine people! Daily episodes was a foolish idea to begin with, but at least maintain a schedule! Now make it up to us by dipping your finger in some blood and put it on your right ear, and don't spare the wave offering, then hunker down and do one a week and all shall be forgiven.

So good, so funny, so necessary. Please, please, please, for the good of your ever-loving fans, record more episodes! I have family members converting to various bible believing religions and I need ammunition against them! I can stand to read the bible (barely), but I'd rather have it read to...Read full review »
