My daughter who studied abroad at TCD pointed Donal and his podcast out to me. She had been lucky to attend one of his city tours and as a history student is fascinated and impressed by Donals understanding of Dublin. As longtime U2 fan I particulary loved the episode „A Sort of Homecoming“ but I...Read full review »

As I wander these streets I read the plaques, street names and see the statues that tell part of my shared history. However for the last three months,...Read full review »

Only came across this a few weeks ago and am really enjoying it. I have lived in Dublin for nearly 6 years but this has really changed how I look at the city already. It’s presented in a really interesting and accessible way that anyone can enjoy and the bit of humour really adds to it.

Dónal takes great pride in where he comes from but most of all the stories of his fellow dubs. The enthusiasm with which the stories are presented is fantastic. I’m not a dub myself, but this is my new favourite history podcast. No Pasarán!
