Julie Bindel was the perfect person to tell the story considering her connection to Sharon and her life’s work committed to women’s safety and justice. She’s NOT anti trans rights - she’s pro women’s rights. She’s not a ‘trans exclusionary feminist’ - she’s a ‘male exclusionary feminist’. If you don’t see that then you’re either deliberately misinterpreting her words or you’re not listening to them in the first place and just blindly following what others have told you to believe. Such a heartbreaking story. I can’t begin to imagine the pain Sharon and the other parents went through. Their perseverance to keep fighting shows the power of a parent’s love. Heroes.
