super good
This is a great podcast, really interesting hosts and guests diving into the strategy genre in both computer and board games. They are not afraid to jump really deep into one particular game for an entire eppisode- I think new listeners should be aware of this and if you're thinking to try out this podcast maybe give one of the more all-round discussions like Tower Defense, Fixing Franchise, Historical Accuracy or Rogue-likes a shot first, these tend to cover a variety of games and talk about game mechanics in different situations. Whereas some of the more specific game oriented episodes can be a bit overwhelming if you aren't familiar with the game or series it belongs to. That being said, they are fantastic if you have some prior knowledge of what's being talked about and if strategy is your jam then its pretty likely they've covered some of your favourites in the vast backlog of episodes (I had completely forgot about Warrhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat, now I wake up screaming every night - thanks Rob Zacny)Read full review »

This is how you do podcasts,...Read full review »

A+
One of the best gaming podcasts out there. Will make you a fan of strategy games if you aren't already. Intelligent discussion that keeps the snark and in jokes to minimum and just focuses on games.Read full review »
