Cheryl’s husband

I loved this podcast, even after Tig left I listened to every episode and I hated that people left Cheryl bad reviews over politics. I didn’t think it was fair. Now, after her husband endorsed Trump and has gone all in on getting him re-elected I feel absolutely disgusted and betrayed that Cheryl...Read full review »

Sad
The quality of this show has plummeted.

I was so excited to hear that Cheryl hates wind chimes. I have felt so alone in my hatred for so many years because I too despise them. Thanks to you I don’t feel alone anymore. Also I miss you guys and this is my 3rd re-listen. It just makes me happy!

Here’s a wild idea… maybe actually talk about the subject of your episodes rather than yammering on endlessly & trying to make yourselves laugh. You’re not funny. It’s important that you know that.

On my third re-listen. I truly miss Tig & Cheryl. Their chemistry is so so good.

I love both these women and admit I’ve listened to only two episodes but I just had to ask. Tig sounds as if she is in misery.

Still listen to the old episodes…. They are a comfort podcast at this point. So sad Tig left but will just re-listen forever!

The archive rules. Tig and Cheryl, when the election is over you all should return.

I love watching documentaries. My partner does not. Often I want to hear what others think so I love to hear the hosts thoughts. Also, I like having suggestions for documentaries so this is perfect for me. I see that newer shows don’t have Tig in them so I am wondering how that happened but I am...Read full review »

Used to be a fun pod when superstar Tig was on it carrying Cheryl’s weight. Stopped listening a while ago when I couldn’t gloss over Cheryl’s support of her loony anti-vax husband. Looks like maybe Tig has left the pod now? If so, supports my general good feelings about her. Take a pass on this one.

Found your podcast when I was falling down a Dolly hole… Parton of course. I’m always searching for a documentary- and I found you! Can’t wait for more. Thanks for including where they can be accessible. I have lotsa options, but it’s super helpful when you know where to stream them.

This podcast is perfection. I cannot believe how much more I love it with the lineup change. No offense to Tig! I’m officially hooked (again) and binging all your episodes. I cannot believe the extent of the silliness and am ever grateful this podcast exists. Thank you ladies!

Hi there, I just love this podcast! I discovered it very recently, and it really cheers me up during dark times. I actually prefer the episodes with Cheryl and Rachel. I find their dynamic so funny and enjoyable. I prefer it to the episodes with Cheryl and Tig. I see the last episode was posted...Read full review »

This podcast brings me joy. I tell everyone and then worry they don’t have the same sense of humor as I do...but then they come back telling me they laughed as hard as I do. So, yay Tig and Cheryl and yay me.

Thanks Tig and Cheryl for making this podcast happen despite the odds and despite you sometimes regretting your commitment to watch a doc every week no matter what. Your voices and laughter keep me company in France and also make me feel better about figuring life out as I go and doing the best I...Read full review »

Discovered this podcast after listening to Tig’s solo podcast. Could not imagine anyone else but Tig hosting with Cheryl, but you nailed it with Rachel! Literally Lols all the time and I really enjoy her perspective. PS - The podcast often brings me to tears in a good way, and I am now attracted...Read full review »

Thank you for the laughs, thank you for making everyday events become hysterical. I think the show is even more fun to listen to with Rachel- the two of them have a great rapport and I’m glad it’s continued even though Tig left.

The Handsome Podcast is hilarious. Absolutely fantastic trio of hosts (including Tig). Been bingeing for days. Mae Fact!

Are you really confused as to why you aren’t seeing corn growing in December? 😂 Funny stuff. I can’t believe people are bothering complaining that Tig quit. I’m mean. Move on with your life.

This podcast makes me almost excited to sit in LA traffic. ALMOOST. I love Cheryl & Rachael as a duo, thanks for the laughs ladies!

Tried to get back into this show but Tig is irreplaceable. Although I will say that the irony of Cheryl laughing about members of a cult is hilarious.

the joy of tig and cheryl was the meandering conversation and stories of their own and i know it’s not fair to compare anyone to tig notaro, but this podcast is really not comedy anymore. it’s a review now, with lots of swearing i don’t know how you can get the magic back but please try. it is...Read full review »

Love documentaries, love Tig, love a comedy podcast. I listened to several episodes, but Cheryl’s super loud, hyperbolic voice gets old quickly. It’s only funny to not know what words are, what people’s names are, etc. the first few times. After the thousandth time per episode, it’s just absurd....Read full review »

Cheryl just said blue teeth and I laughed so hard I started crying which made my 5 year old ask me “mommy why do you look like you’re sad?” And I had to explain “I’m listening to a podcast and they made me laugh so hard I’m crying” But she understood right away saying “oh tears of joy!” Thanks...Read full review »

Kind of annoying when I have to listen to 20 minutes of chit chat that has absolutely nothing to do with the title of the episode. That was enough for me to not follow this podcast.

Been listening since the beginning and still a snerkbol! You might think it’s important to watch the documentary before the episode. But I’ve done the science and not only is it not necessary to watch the documentary, I actually think it’s better if you don’t! I’ve done it both ways and I laugh...Read full review »

I’ve been listening to old episodes (between new ones of course) and I came across this direct quote from Cheryl: “I think Rachel Harris would come in hard on the camel toe discussion”. Perhaps this topic needs revisiting? Love the show!

I’ve tried to love it. I really have. It’s not bad; it’s just not funny anymore. I do learn far more about a documentary than I ever did with Tig and Cheryl, but the side-splitting banter is gone. Now there’s nice conversation between best friends, but we’re used to bursting out laughing at...Read full review »

Updated review for the new version: I used to love this podcast, but now it’s so simple-minded and dull. There are no counterpoints. Tig offered a different set of life experiences. I feel bamboozled, tricked, cheated, swindled. The “hiatus” was hard enough to deal with and now THIS. I feel like a child of divorce, a snerkbol without a home. It’s about what’s funny or not. She was married to the guy while Tig was on the show and it was a fun and funny show. Rachel and Cheryl just are not that fun or funny together. Who Cheryl is married to just doesn’t matter to me.

Used to love the show, but I don’t appreciate how Tig and Cheryl stopped the show as soon RFK’s campaign launched and then didn’t even acknowledge it when Cheryl decided to restart True Story.
