“Cheryl Hines is annoying in this podcast (to me) and I get really frustrated with her takes here, but I love Tig Notaro and that’s why I’m sticking with it. Cheryl often recaps incorrectly, but with confidence, and seems to take the lead in recaps. And I was really turned off by the Tiger King episode — particularly the interview with the director (Cheryl’s pal), who is a trash director and a Joe Exotic (animal abuser) apologist. That whole thing really surprised me. But the Fyre Fest episode was funny. Bottom line: here for Tig.”
