Real and useful
Reber intends these TILT podcasts to help parents find resources, and to better understand their children, themselves and their parenting. She accomplishes these things. This old teacher adds that the podcasts are also useful for teachers, and not just of differently-wired children. I found myself planning to apply some of the tips in my own life, with my siblings and friends. The truthfulness--the realness--of her conversations is especially evident when Debbie Reber talks with her son about maintaining focus. I love how Debbie continues to get great information out of the most interesting and relevant experts out there! Even when I think a topic doesn’t apply to me, I end up with some little gem that I can use. I love the tone of community and solidarity I feel when listening.
