Solid work on pursuing equity in relationships
Laura’s instagram @thatdarnchat has always had excellent content on how to build an equitable partnership, and it’s lovely to hear her content in longer form here. I honestly wasn’t entirely sure I wanted kids because of how much I saw women drowning under the weight of the mental load. My husband and I listened to Eve Rodsky’s Time Out Podcast before kids, and it was game changing in helping us equitably divide labor in preparation for postpartum. Laura’s work expands on Rodsky’s and also integrates solid content on emotional labor and intersectional feminism. Such a great resource for anyone working towards sharing mental load and emotional labor.
