As a neurodivergent person, my brain just clicks with this. And I feel called out in a good way, and eye opened about things I need to advocate for fixing. Thanks!

So refreshing to hear (white) women discuss parenting that ALSO discuss imperialism, white feminism, colonialism and all the other things that “mommy influencers” either don’t care about or ignore. Makes me feel not so crazy in the current climate trying to parent while there are multiple...Read full review »

I love you Crystal and Laura, but the volume (audio) of most of the episodes is just so low I can’t hear all your funny smart words! Please increase the volume so I can hear you better. With love, Leanne from Canada

I love this podcast so much! I follow both Laura and Crystal on other socials and their podcast has helped me so much! Each week I wait, not so patiently, for another episode to be released. Their content and backgrounds make this podcast so relatable and helpful.

Laura and Crystal bring a wide range of topics up for discussion. They somehow make everything from pop culture/media to personal relationships interesting and often relatable. Speaking from an honest place they offer insight into self growth, exploration of stereotypes that so many of us live by...Read full review »

I stumbled upon this podcast after hearing one of the hosts on another podcast and I’m so glad I did. Both hosts are well informed, relatable and funny. While every topic may not strike my specific circumstances, I find value in their conversations. This is especially true when talking about...Read full review »

I listened because I follow Laura on TikTok and I love her but MAN, the podcast is really, truly geared to neurodivergent people/partners. Which is great, but also pretty niche (unless everyone is neurodivergent now which wouldn’t be divergent at all). For me, the minute the hosts start talking...Read full review »

This podcast has helped me so much in my relationship. I love how they apply feminist values and theory to current discourse. Household equity is such an important issue but they go so much deeper than fair play and other frameworks for understanding gender dynamics at play in the home.

I love Laura Danger & all her work so I was hoping to love this podcast. Unfortunately Crystal makes it a bit hard to listen to! There are many moments throughout a few of the episodes where Crystal interrupts, or appears to want to interject over Laura instantly. I think she needs to sit...Read full review »

Just when I think I have an issue processed through in my mind, I hear Laura and Crystal talk about it and I gain even more insight. I learn something more that I hadn’t considered before. Truly time well spent listening to their content!

Laura & Crystal have a refreshing and innovative perspective. They not only validate so much of what primary caregivers feel, but also provide actionable advice to support real sustainable change. This podcast is for everyone that is in a partnership, has been in a partnership, or wants a...Read full review »

Laura’s instagram @thatdarnchat has always had excellent content on how to build an equitable partnership, and it’s lovely to hear her content in longer form here. I honestly wasn’t entirely sure I wanted kids because of how much I saw women drowning under the weight of the mental load. My...Read full review »

If “absorbing” the “nightmare” of managing bedtime for your own two small children necessitates texting your socialized male domestic caregiver partner on his collectively bargained and “properly calendared” free night in order to “share the emotional load” requires, in advance, “practicing”...Read full review »

I can’t get enough of Laura and Crystal. They are so validating and humorous and right on point. They don’t pull punches as they give such relatable, encouraging and honest thoughts on marriage and parenting and life in the midst of our crazy patriarchal, white, ableist, capitalist society. ...Read full review »
