“Listened through season 1, which focuses on women/teachers. The premise of this reminded me of The Magic Treehouse books I read in elementary school. I think this would be a really enjoyable show if I was 8-13, but some of the dialogue provides a painstaking level of handholding for adult listeners (this is obviously written for kids or I'd have taken a star off the rating). The snippets of Puerto Rican history are interesting and the almost equal focus on the kids' present lives gives more weight to their adventures. The friendship dynamic between the kids is supportive and well-written. The voice actors give overall good performances.”Read full review »
