The OTM Parasite
I guess Vogt and Goldman were complaining that they didn’t have enough ‘input’ into OTM, so they gave the kids their ‘own’ podcast to play with. We get to listen to what ever internet drivel they were fascinated with this week. Consistently boring, dull, and of no interest to me what so ever. But I’m forced to download it. It’s attached like a tick to the OTM download, and I’m force fed this nonsense to get the OTM podcast I want. Alex, PJ, stop living in the OTM spare room and rely on your own separate download requests. You’ll know who really wants to hear your stuff, and I’ll get stop having to delete it week after week. Win win

If you love On The Media, you’ll probably like TLDR. The episodes may only be 10 minutes or so long, but they’re still well reported and informative. You will not find Episode 45 of TLDR on its feed. It was removed by WNYC and NPR because TLDR "failed a basic test of fairness". Pretty pathetic - both the episode and its removal (also known as "a whitewash").Read full review »
