It’s nice to see the hosts of reply all try and struggle, then graduate to a better podcast. Good, but the hosts can do better (and they do)

Original hosts were great, the later hosts energy wasn't right... sorry this feed died, but yeah search reply all.Read full review »

This is a good podcast but reply all is better because it gets more in depth and you get more of the story. I sort of get that these short burst is for the internet generation with low attention spans. But that’s what makes PJ and Alex so great, whether it’s the short TLDR or longer reply all,...Read full review »

I really lived this pod. Such a shame it disappeared. Reply All is good but just not the same. Bye TLDR, you are missed.

The first 36 or so episodes were fantastic! PJ and Alex were wonderful hosts. The problem with there episodes was I wanted them to be longer. And that’s what there other podcast, ReplyAll, is. TLDR with PJ and Alex deserves 5 Stars. Meredith ruined TLDR. Her first couple episodes were fine....Read full review »

I really loved this podcast when it was hosted by Alex and PJ. Also liked it under Meredith. Hope it comes back!

If you're like me you may have discovered this podcast after Reply All, which is Alex and PJ's newer podcast on the Gimlet network. If you HAVEN'T heard Reply All however, I would definitely check that out immediately. TLDR was a fine podcast, but it evolved into something...Read full review »

Great show, the original host have moved on to" reply all “ but still very much worth the time. Show" #46 - Episode 45 Redux “ looked to be a death blow but i really wish it was still on. The show gets a slight different focus when the new host takes over but I think the host does a great...Read full review »

The show was great before the original hosts left to do Replay All, and sadly the show has gone downhill fast since then. Now the episodes have taken on a more preachy gender-focused tone instead of a "here's this interesting thing in tech" tone. The first 40 episodes are great, but...Read full review »

Although the show did lose some of its magic after Alex and PJ left, the last two episodes with Meredith were getting back on track! It’s too bad that this segment seems to be cancelled. Even though it’s a year later, I am still disgusted by Wadhwa’s response in Episode 45. Yes, it was wrong...Read full review »

Great with PJ and Alex, great with Meredith. Okay, Hey Ladies was too much. But still, TLDR with Meredith was a perfect ten minutes of Internet news and culture. Bring it back WNYC!

I subscribed to TLDR after learning about the show on Reply All. I just listened to Episode #45 and I am shocked. I’m confident the feedback for this episode has been vitriolic and I have no wish to add to the maelstrom, so I'll just go ahead and unsubscribe. Bye.Read full review »

Like many commenters, I used to enjoy this podcast. Sure, it has changed quite a bit, sometimes with a change of host. Episode 46 is when I unsubscribed. First off, go download Reply All. It's what the original hosts of the show are doing now. Sadly, the new host and direction of TLDR has nothing to do with the original concept of the show. Like others, I would suggest following the original hosts over to Reply All. I’m very surprised WNYC would hire a host this unsophisticated. I thought this show was outstanding, and the move to a feminist-oriented set of questions and stories was welcome and compelling. The level of conversation was high, and I learned from most of the pieces. I really hope Meredith comes back.

Yeah, I understand that with new leadership comes a new artistical direction, but what I liked most about TLDR was that it was spontaneous and *fun*, I’m a little sick of hearing about gender issues in every episode, and everything just seems so…negative. I subscribed to this podcast a while back with the original hosts. Since the transition, the episodes have been a shade of what I originally signed up for. When this show originally debuted, it was fun and covered familiar internet phenomenon in depth you don't normally find on the net. I've been trying hard to give the new host, Meredith, the benefit of the doubt. I know it must be difficult to pick up the reigns as she did. But it has been a complete shift in tone. This show should end. For almost 40 episodes, it was really great, but then the hosts left to start an even better podcast, Reply All. This show really went down hill. Firstly the episodes are just boring now. Secondly the host has really done a huge disservice to the cause of women in technology by making the conversation that much more difficult to have because of they way she attacked Mr. Wadhwa.

What a shame. I feel the new host is trying hard but there is no hook or edge anymore, no story even, nothing to keep me listening. I rarely stop a podcast half way through, but now I do. Just heard the episode redux with Vivek Wadhwa and I'm appalled by how poorly this was handled. Meredith was rude and unapologetic. While the concept of TLDR is great, the execution is horrible. The host resorts to ad hominem attacks and doesn’t even check sources. It’s bad journalism.
