It is the best podcast I have listened to so far. Keep it coming......

Great story Get the impression the host loves himself a bit to much, but that aside great story. My first gripe Ads these should be spaced out more No one is going to start listening 3/4 eps in and realise they need self help or a doorbell with a camera Yeah you get money from the ads but the...Read full review »

FIRST: “That laugh” ...and Jaden handing you the note saying Chris is avoiding the question while sounding like a blubbering mess, and sounding so evasive turned my intuition ON. SECOND: Then all was confirmed to me when you read out the note that “Chris” wrote to Jade while harassing her...Read full review »

Great in-depth investigative podcast! Must listen! I was totally captivated by this crime story. I had no idea this had happened in my city

Very well organized and put together in a way that is compelling. Strauss has a nice voice that makes it easy to listen to. I recommend it.

Crazy story putting together the pieces of a compelling investigation. Very well produced and hosted, while being respectful of the families and those involved.

This is the most compelling podcast I’ve had the chance to listen to. Supremely well done. You won’t be disappointed. From the very start it grabs all of you.

I have still not finished it yet.. but the way he did this podcast really makes the listener think and is taken along the ride with him as if we were investigating ourselves. I love how you didn’t just tell the story. Each episode we go along In the investigation, it makes you feel apart of the...Read full review »

This was my very first podcast I’ve ever listened to. My employee came in and says to me “I can’t wait to leave work because I’m listening to this podcast about...crime investigation stuff.” A young lady who shares my same obsessions...of course I had to listen. Well, it wasn’t all that I...Read full review »

Everything about this podcast was stellar. The narrative was spot on and I could not wait to get into my car everyday to listen. I even listened late at night a few times when I should have been sleeping. It was like a good book I couldn’t put down but with real lives involved. I’m sad for her...Read full review »

Please don’t stop making these podcasts! You do a remarkable job of researching, telling these stories, and helping these families. I truly mean it when I say this is one the best podcasts I’ve listened too!

Best podcast. Full of twists and turns. Well produced and the story was told so well. Thank you!!! When is season 2??????????
Td99210 via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 01/16/20
Disappointing, manipulative and frustratingly rambling. This series could have been edited down by at least 3 episodes. Important facts, known to the podcast’s investigative journalist in the early episodes, are held back until later episodes to shock and surprise and string you along. Although...Read full review »

What a tragic story and I feel so much sadness for the family of Adea. The investigative journalism in this podcast is incredible and had me hooked.

I am so picky about which pods I listen to, and I am amazed at how intriguing this one is! From episode one, I couldn’t put it down. It captures every emotion and truly shows what dedication from a few people looks like. AMAZING. I hope there are more episodes in the near future, as it’s...Read full review »

Thank you for this. Investigative journalism is so important, and this is just another reminder. A lot of people are complaining about the ads - i thought it was a normal amount of ads. I cannot complain because this podcast is FREE!
VeronicaElle via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 01/13/20
I’m enjoying the investigation and it keeps you on your toes but about 50% of every episode is ads/sponsorship. I understand you need these for a podcast but 50% of each episode is a bit much.
Rhiiiiddikulus via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 01/12/20
Just awful journalism. Listening to Serial again to wash this bad sound out of my ears. Everyone who makes a podcast should be forced to listen to This American life and Serial before they even record.

Enjoying the story to a degree but the incessant adverts are setting my teeth on edge. It’s actually spoiling the listening greatly.
Genghismac via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 01/10/20
Almost unlistenable for me, full of baseless speculation, disconnected storytelling, pointless attempts to create suspense. I’m hardly a true crime connoisseur and even I can tell that this is well below the level of even mediocre crime reporting.

This was my very first podcast! Yup, late to the game but wow! I binge listened to this in two days.. so heartbreaking that it’s a true story. There were a butt ton of commercials but I kept listening regardless because I couldn’t pull away!
MommaInman via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 01/09/20
If you’ve listened to even a few true crime podcasts, you will quickly notice the contrast between a well done, non-biased, investigative podcast and this one. Neil Strauss is ill equipped for this and its unfortunate he was handed this story. I couldn’t help but imagine that he listened to a...Read full review »

I’m hooked! The only thing I don’t like is the pop up ads! The first one was for the ring door bell which I though was relevant with protection. But there’s lik 4/5 in each podcast 😫

Was not thrilled with how much time commercials took up in this one. So, if you don’t like to deal with that, you won’t like this podcast. I just fast forward. The story is fascinating and fascinatingly told. Strauss clearly has a clear and direct way to tell a tale. My only concern is that he ALWAYS jumps to the wrong conclusion.
