Too Much Spirituality
I think this podcast is partly sponsored by the Templeton foundation that has an underlying agenda. There is too much trying to shoehorn religious ideas into science and the result is often gibberish. The recent podcast featuring Rupert Sheldrake was the last straw for me. His ideas are so spacey you might as well propose unicorns orbiting jupiter and make about as much sense. The underlying implication is that there is consciousness outside the mind which opens the door to the existence of a soul, heaven, hell and so on. The podcast poses as science but is in many ways anti science. Some of the podcast is interesting but the spiritual meme just keeps rearing it's spooky head.Read full review »
