Three for the price of one.
There are many Doctor Who commentators, and there are many Doctor Who podcasts. But in my opinion Toby is THE Doctor Who commentator, and this is THE Doctor Who podcast. Or rather three of them. Toby Hadoke’s Time Travels splits into three strands. ‘Too Much Information’, which covers the production of Doctor Who in astonishing detail starting in the early sixties. ‘Happy Times and Places’ is a series of insightful commentaries on episodes from across the show’s history in which Toby plays a guessing game, trying to work out what a guest’s favourite thing about the episode is. ‘Indefinable Magic’ is a series of self penned, self performed essays about Doctor Who, its appeal and the highways and byways of its history. They are all equally marvellous while also being very distinct. If you can’t find Doctor Who content in here that appeals to you, you probably don’t really like Doctor Who at all. Subscribe, and indulge yourself. Then give the man responsible a few quid on Patreon or Kofi. He probably needs to get a big shop in soon. Don’t we all?

It’s a real joy to listen to all of Toby’s podcasts and there’s always some new and rewarding insights that are shared with humour and with love. Even on Time Flight. Thanks Toby!

Love this podcast. So warm and rambly. Almost dreading the day when Toby has covered everything.
