“I enjoy listening to T + Lo on Saturday mornings while I do my usual Saturday morning stuff. They remind me a little of the old-time radio couple in Woody Allen’s Radio Days talking about celebrities (although they don’t pretend to hang out with them.)
Sometimes their commentary gets more serious, such as discussing #metoo and issues of race and gender, but it’s usually in the context of pop culture and I find it interesting. Tom knows his stuff about film and Lorenzo knows his about fashion, so it makes for a good mix. I like the dynamic between them - as someone who has also been in a relationship for a very long time, I know better than to judge their relationship based on an hour of recorded talk on planned topics.”
