So much Potential
This podcast has so much potential, but needs a lot of improvement. As someone who goes into the wilderness and ocean often, i'm interested in this podcast to educate me on how these animals behave and how to avoid a fatal attack and what to do if animals do attack. The podcast maybe spends all of ten seconds on such information and instead spends a lot of time on stoner attempts at entertainment/comedy or ramblings that really fall flat. The developers may wish to consider researching how these animals behave on average (so looking at more than just one story for each podcast) in order to educate people and going more into more than one attack. For instance on the shark episode, are there certain areas of the world where there are more shark attacks? Do things like striped wetsuits or those shark electronic devices work? Should one swim away when they see a shark or stay still/float on the water? I really hope for the episode on mountain lions they go into what one should do if you see a mountain lion - should we put our arms up and scream? Should we run or stay still or walk? Should we look at the animal? More information on what makes these animals unique and how they interact with other species and their habitat would be interesting. More science, less stupid please.Read full review »

I am fascinated by animal attacks. I would also like to never be involved in one. If you are like me, then this podcast is for you. Informative, fun, and entertaining!
