A fair podcast, shark: jumped
Many other Trek podcasts, I have to fast fwd through the first 12 or 20 minutes while the 'friends' catch up on what they've been doing, and make each other (not me) laugh. The Trek Geeks are friends, but they're here to talk about Star Trek, not to catch up on their personal lives. And they aren't against preparing for the show before recording it, or editing the show after recording it. BUT, everything about Discovery is great and thoughtful and interesting, the guests are great and thoughtful and interesting, and every comment halts the show by sixty seconds of the others calling the comment great and thoughtful and interesting, Lots of flattery sprayed around. Peruse the earier episodes, before 2017. And don't miss Ep 100, a long one about Star Trek Continues.Read full review »

I love these guys and their love for all things Trek. They embody everything that Star Trek has taught us about getting along and they are old friends who have bonded over their love of Star Trek.
