“Why open these wounds up again? You clearly aren’t from our community. Even though Cindy and the three boys are passed away, Cindy’s youngest son she had with Steven has to have his heart ripped open again listening to his late mum’s biggest pain when he grew up never knowing his three big brothers and constantly seeing his mother suffering. This is a ploy for ratings and clicks. Robert didn’t save his sons, only himself, he didn’t try saving them he just tormented his wife and now this horrible series opens wounds up in the community again when there was no evidence proving his innocence. It’s inconclusive he had a coughing fit then, and if he started coughing, why didn’t he just pull over? He should never be released and this stupid podcast did nothing to sway the public in his favour. This series was a diatribe of baseless speculation. The conversation at the fish and chips shop condemned him, the wanting a cigarette while other men dived in that water, condemned him, he doesn’t deserve a retrial nor seeing the light of day again for what he did to three innocent little boys. Shame on the Age for publishing this horrific biased piece of tabloid trash.”
