Baffled by the reviews and
I’m surprised at the opinions of the negative reviews… I found this podcast well structured and compelling. Yes it is clear that the narrative told is advocating for his innocence but I don’t think they’re trying to hide that or tell both sides of the story with a bias towards one side. I find it quite ironic that one of the journalists for the Australian was still using his demeanour as a confirmation of his guilt and that because the justice system has found him guilty then it must be true because “if we can’t trust the justice system, what can we trust”! I find that so alarming that a journalist (someone who is supposed to apply critical thought) can hold such a simple perspective… of course the justice system gets it wrong and of course people make up their mind based on their own preconceptions and whatever the media feeds us about someone. This is why people will continue to be wrongfully convicted and why guilty people will continue to get away with crimes!
