Terrible
Everyone says speak up and be smart about recognising abusers of women and children. Yet in this case we are being asked to put proven facts aside and cast this man alongside Folbigg and Chamberlain. Both of whom were treated terribly because they are women, mind you. Why the massive effort to try to reframe circumstances around an abusive husband and father? And why now, in this era of one woman being killed by an intimate partner every 5 days? The bit about him turning off the ignition and lights while on autopilot was just farcical. No parent, coughing fit, shock or not, is going to leave their children to drown. You know what IS autopilot? The biological urge to keep one’s children safe. Revolting all round. Disappointed in everyone involved. Think about what you are doing.

Love this podcast. Reframed how I see a major crime of my lifetime

I found this persuasive enough to conclude that there is reasonable doubt. I found it to be thorough and good investigative journalism.

Actually, 0 stars. Men covering for men and their violence. Given the current tidal wave of men’s violence in this country, I cannot believe someone approved the idea behind this podcast - ‘but he’s a good bloke!’. Yuck. Take it down and let these little boys and their mother rest peacefully.
