“I am an avid pub trivia player (at least 3 nights a week) and this show has become my favorite podcast since I found it a few months ago. I listened to nearly 20 episodes the first week and now that I've listened to all of them, I have gone back to the start to see how much I can remember. This podcast has helped me numerous times at pub trivia as well, including this past week when asked "What two countries can the Gobi desert be found?" I am terrible at geography, but the moment I heard the question, I told my teammates with excitement "This was on the podcast!" and quickly put China and Mongolia. I would have had no chance before I started listening to the show.
On a recent episode, there was a question about the lake with the greatest volume after the Great Lakes in the U.S. and the first thing that came to mind was "Lake Tahoe." Everyone had given a different answer and I felt bummed out because I thought for sure my guess had to be wrong. When I heard the answer was in fact "Lake Tahoe", I felt like a million bucks, even if it was just a guess. I can't think of any other podcast that has given me not only knowledge, but so much excitement as well.
All the hosts and players are fun, engaging and make the show a pleasure to listen to. I love the show and hope it becomes even bigger and more successful. If you play pub trivia or just love to test your memory, you can't do any better than this.
P.S. - I would love to hear the hosts favorite stories from playing pub trivia.”Read full review »
