A Big Fat Oakland Five
In less than a month, I've binged about 100 episodes of Triviality. (Note: Please focus on what this indicates about the show and its hosts rather than what it indicates about me as a normal human.) I searched for a trivia-centric podcast to help prepare me for a thing in which I will be asked many questions about many things. I won't name this event, but if I do well and earn enough money, I may move to Chicago so I can regularly hang out with the hosts of Triviality. (kidding...?) Not that there aren't other great trivia podcasts out there, but out of the few I've checked out, Triviality is easily the one for me. (Early and regular references to relatively obscure bands sealed the deal.) As stated, I've listened to the clear majority of episodes, having only skipped most of the singularly-focused episodes. Despite hearing that many episodes and the fact that a part of me identifies with each of Jeff, Ken, Matt and Neal, I'm finally now understanding who is talking when and which wheelhouse is whose. Maybe when I finally get it straightened out completely, I’ll create a Buzzfeed-esque quiz: "Which Triviality Host are You?!" Anyway... If you're looking for a trivia podcast and can vibe with four chill, millennial (chillennial?) dudes discussing a vast array of topics, Triviality is the one you want.Read full review »

Caught this link from a FB trivia group I belong too. The guys have great chemistry, and this first episode was fun with the sea theme. I don't know much about pirates or anything, but the host was able to weave in some clues. Looking forward to future episodes.Read full review »

Ken, Matt, Neal, and Jeff have created a fun weekly podcast with a perfect difficulty level/variety of questions. The guys are hilarious and their chemistry is in no short supply. They don't claim to be masters of trivia, but they like it and it shows. Keep up the good work, gents! #teamMattRead full review »
