“I do a movie podcast myself, and Big Screen Sports is the most detailed and well-thought podcast about sports movies available currently. Host Kyle never fails to keep the discussion moving w timely comments, specific subcategories pertinent to the film and sport, plus, he rightfully believes Kevin Costner is the best on-screen athlete of all-time (except he keeps forgetting Kevin was in "American Flyers" - another sports film). Kyle's guests are well-equipped to discuss the movie and are always prepared. Well worth subscribing to! BTW, Kyle, there is a baseball movie you may never have heard of that you should watch/potentially review -- 1990's Pastime. A more dramatic version of "Long Gone" but being an ex-pitcher, you'll appreciate the plight of the two leads.”Read full review »
