“I want to love this podcast as much as I do the rest of After Buzz's shows, but the format and some of the commenters drive me crazy. First off, they don't do an actual "recap" or outline of what happened on the show that night. They just jump right in to what ever stuck with them the most from that episode. If you're like me and don't listen right after the show airs, you tend to forget exactly what happened in that episode and are left throwing your hands up in the air going "Wait, what?! How did this episode start again? What the hell is going on?!"
Secondly, some of the commenters have never seen the show, so when the group is discussing the episode, the commenters will jump in with a random comment that has nothing to do with what's going on. Instead keeping the focus on True Blood, they end up going off on a tangent for 5-10 minutes about nothing and then when they finally return to the subject at hand, you've already forgotten what was being discussed in the first place. Very frustrating.
Whatever you do, please don't let Chris Gore back on. He was the worst guest and kept on bringing the conversation back to sex EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT! He made the show feel dirty and not in a good way.”Read full review »
