Used to be great, now not so much
Weird season. Terrible issues w audio quality & volume. Skimpy episodes. Nothing of real value covered unless you want to hang your whole case on newspapers and some Amish people. The ads dominate and how disappointing for Josh to take money from highly problematic platform Better Help. Ugh. And the music is just an irrelevant vanity project screaming look how obscure and feely my taste is. Finally, I wonder how a different and new Keyes podcast snagged first person interviews with the actual FBI agents on the case and people who knew Keyes when TCB has been going for several years and hasn’t managed to do so. I’m listening in hopes it will get better but I’m not optimistic.

More reviews of True Crime Bullsh**
I listen to ALOT of true crime podcasts, but this is one of the best researched and presented of them all! Kudos to Josh- great podcaster and great podcast!!! Please continue with covering other serial killers- binge listened all day!

This is by far my favorite podcast right now. So well done. Thoughtful use of music and actual recordings of Keyes. It is also a great examination of the true crime genre, humanity of serial killers, and the impact of media (including podcasts) on victims. Soooo good!

Interesting topic if you like such things which I do but I find it disconcerting that a few episodes into the podcast the host refers to him as “Iz”. Way too much air time spent on the killer’s interviews too. Borders on a fan boy/girl thing instead of objective reporting.
