I have loved your show until tonight. Your story of 11/23. I know nothing about the case but as to your description of Martha’s Vineyard and access is so wrong. For her to get to Chapaquidick she would have to go to MV first. It is a very small island off of MV with a 100 ft crossing. ( Ted...Read full review »

Good pod… but why don’t you have a name? Captain of what… your garage???

Informative but always at least one thing to chuckle about. I love how the Captain will make a snarky comment and Nik will just keep talking like nothing happened. My favorite podcast

I spent over 21 years in law enforcement and I regularly look for true crime podcasts that are done well. True Crime Garage has remained my favorite since I discovered it approximately four years ago. The content and presentation are excellent and I’ve recommended this podcast in every podcast...Read full review »

TCG is pretty good. Good variety of cases and decent research. Sometimes the “Captain’s”, blubbering and silly comments get old. Also, neither one of you are veterans and clearly don’t know how military operations and bases operate. So, please stop assuming and projecting your opinions on...Read full review »

Two cool dudes doing their thing. Hey Kassie, see Ya Next Tuesday. Buy some tissues. Anyone who doesn’t like this podcast is very likely a homoseckthual.

I’ve only listened to a few episodes, and The Captain is nearly intolerable. I’m a flippant person, but even for me his attempts at humor are too much for the subject matter. And his serious comments are just repeats of what has already been said. If it weren’t for him I would really enjoy this...Read full review »

They started opining about societal issues/prison system/etc and that was the end of my listening to these guys. Started sounded like ReThuglican Radio and so it’s “So, long, fellas!”

This is one of my favorite podcasts. It’s actually fun. Love the intros and outros the Captain composes. However, over the past year (2019/2020) the commercial time has gotten humongous. Three straight minutes a pop... so I’ve deducted one star. Seems they are adding one full minute of ads per...Read full review »

Levity and facts. Great rapport between the Nick and the Captn’. They believe in the constitution, they blame the criminal not the weapon and they are even handed with law enforcement. Not inherently anti-cop, but point out the shortcomings.

I’m not sure if you guys take any suggestions for your show but have you ever heard of the mysterious unsolved cases that haunt Bardstown, KY? You have the case pf a missing woman (Crystal Rogers) the murder of her father a year later (Tommy Ballard) and also the unsolved murder of a cop Jason...Read full review »

What is he captain of? All he does is repeat what Nic says, he doesn’t bring anything to this podcast, it’s torture listening to him. I tried giving him a chance for quite a long time, but I finally gave up and stopped following because it’s that bad. He’s the captain of stupidity! Captain of...Read full review »

Updating my review because this used to be such a great podcast. It is sooo boring now. Even the hosts sound bored. The stories aren’t being done justice with the endless droning. It would also be nice to toss in a solved crime every now and again. Or maybe call it “unsolved true crime garage.”

Nic and The Captain are essential listening for me. They work well together and the podcasts that they produce are of a high quality in my opinion. They mostly get it right, perfection is over rated.

Great podcast, they often cover little-known cases or cases that don’t get much attention. Thorough coverage of cases with commentary that doesn’t make you want to shut it off. Also NOT anti-police like many other TC podcasts but present a fair assessment of the investigation. Great balance of...Read full review »

One guy reads reports and “the captain”- who I guess is a matier’d at a restaurant, popping occasionally with a dumb quip. Neither are experts in crime, have no knowledge of evidence, forensics or investigations. My barber can do more analysis and critical thinking than these two. Especially...Read full review »

I gave 3 stars because you have to purchase the first 50 episodes. I don’t like starting in the middle of a podcast, I like to start at the beginning. I feel like I am missing out but I also don’t want to pay- what if I don’t like it!

they’re not willing to admit MOST of LE are lazy, liars, power hungry and bullies…but continue to kiss their feet…also…deeply sexist…it’s so deeply engrained, i don’t think if it was pointed out, they would admit it…

One of my absolute favorites! Lately, though, almost every episode is unsolved. Great podcast absolutely love it! One pet peeve, though, cohost has to stop referring to people in trials being found. "innocent" when he means not guilty. It is not the same thing. Nobody's found innocent if they aren't found guilty.. Not guilty just means prosecution didn't...Read full review »

This is probably my favorite podcast since Murder Squad ended. They go in depth when there’s enough information to do so, and when there is good or bad police work they say so. Glad I found this since they have done a lot of episodes and it will take me a while to catch up.

A pretty solid podcast. I only found them about a year ago and I have to admit, I prefer older episodes. Solid true crime podcast hosted by an Odd Couple-ish duo. The first years of podcast were really great. (And I rated five stars.) Now I find myself tuning out what’s being said, stop listening to a case mid sentence or skip entire cases altogether.
